openFrameworks

I was introduced to openFrameworks during my talk at at Reasons 2015 and reminded of it recently by algorithmic virtuoso Kelcey Swain. Joyously I have finally found the time to play! I’m really pleased to have done so too – the library wipes out all the hassles of working with 2D and 3D graphics in C++; it works great on MacOS and Linux, and more importantly it integrates well with my previous work on 3D Virtual Creatures. Props to James Acres whose stencilled shadow maps really make the 3D come to life with minimum effort.
